Solution
(1) System Composition
1. RFID Tags: Select different tags based on the characteristics of the tools. They have waterproof and dustproof properties. For common tools, PCB anti-metal tags are attached to the surface of the tools. For tools that are not easy to choose cable tie tag.
2. RFID Reader/Writer:
Desktop Reader/Writer: Placed in the warehouse near the entrances and exits, used for registering tool information, personnel login, borrowing and returning, etc.
Passage Reader/Writer: Installed at the entrances and exits of the warehouse, used to identify the tools entering and leaving the warehouse. It will give an alarm if an unauthorized person takes the tool out.
Intelligent Tool Cabinet: Stores important tools, automatically identifies the tools, updates the inventory in real time, and manages access rights.
Intelligent Shelves: Categorically store the tools, monitor their locations.
Handheld Reader/Writer: Used for mobile inventory by personnel.

Information Management: Bind the tools with tags, and update the information in real time.
Inventory Management: Collect data in real time, set warning thresholds to ensure reasonable inventory.
In and Out from warehouse Management: Automatically identify in batches, efficient and error-free.
Inventory Check Management: Conduct quick full or partial inventory checks, generate a difference report.
Location Tracking: Real-time location tracking, navigation to find the tool.
Access Control Management: Set user access rights according to responsibilities to ensure data security.
Report Generation: Generate multiple types of reports as needed, support export.
(3) System Flow
Registration: Register the details of the tools in the tool management system, allocate shelf positions, and generate an electronic tag ID. Use the desktop reader/writer to write codes on the PCB anti-metal tags and attach them to the tools, completing the registration.
Loan: Query the location of the tool at the desktop settlement counter, take it, place it on the settlement counter, and click "loan". The data is transmitted to the background to update the status; the passage door reads the tag, gives an alarm if the tool is taken out illegally, and the borrowing is completed when leaving the warehouse through the passage door.
Return: Enter through the passage door, place the tool on the desktop settlement counter, and click "return". The system allocates a storage position; the data is transmitted to the background to update the status, and the tool is stored according to the allocated storage position to complete the return.
Inventory Check: The backend system generates an inventory instruction and issues an operation order; go to the corresponding storage area, open the handheld reader/writer to read the tag information; the data is transmitted to the background to generate an inventory summary list, and the inventory is completed.
